Tutoring:

Tutoring has been my side hustle off and on after graduation from Sam Houston State until the present as it has allowed me to help students who struggle with understanding their course material. When I moved back to the Houston area from the College Station area, I pursued tutoring more fully. Even though I currently have three online sections between Lone Star College and WVNCC, that will change as colleges return to in-person classes. I’ve worked through the WyzAnt tutoring app, referrals, and I’ve also worked at two different Huntington Learning Centers in the northwest Houston area. I would love to help you or your child with chemistry, biology, or math courses!

Secondary Education: Hempstead Junior High (part of 1996-7 school year, 7th Grade Life Science), Horizons Education Center (1994-6, closed now due to the pandemic, Biology, Physical Science, Chemistry, Prealgebra, Algebra I and II, Advanced Mathematics)

When I’m not volunteering to teach the Bible to others, teaching, and tutoring, I can be found listening to music, singing, playing Mahjong on my tablet, and crocheting. I can knit, but I’m not as proficient with knitting as I am with crocheting.
