Introduction to Coding (Computer Programming)

Course Syllabus/ Description

Are you interested in learning to code? Codeboard Online offers beginner coding classes! Web development is one of most common forms of software development, and the three technologies taught in these classes are crucial to making it happen. At the end of the course, students will be able to create basic web pages using HTML (Hypertext Markup Language), CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), and JS (Javascript). Students leave the course with real experience using industry standard technologies. Classes start September 6th, 2023. There will be two classes a week on Mondays and Wednesdays. The tentative time for each class is 3pm EST.

Requirements:
Ages 8 and up
Students can join classes using a non-school board chromebook, a laptop, or a tablet.
Students should use one of the following web browsers: Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.
The experience is best if the student has a physical keyboard.
Students should already be able to type and know how to use their device/computer.
