Sharon Yung
Native of Hong Kong, and currently based in Brooklyn, New York, Sharon has been playing the violin for over 35yrs. She received her earlier musical training at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts. During her study at the Conservatory of Music at University of Cincinnati and in Brooklyn College, Sharon further her musical training under renowned teachers such as, Prof. Igor Ozim, Prof Kurt Sassmanshaus, Itzark Perlman, Maoso Kawasaki and Mela Tenenbaum.
Sharon has been teaching the violin for over 25 yrs, and has been an active violin performer in the greater New York area. She has been a member of Music Under New York since 2018 and joined the Times Square Alliance in 2019.
Sharon performs the ‘Live! Concert from My Living Room’ series on IG,YouTube, and on Zoom. The ‘Violin Studio with Sharon’ on her Patreon provides invaluable resources for violin students of all levels. Sharon’s solo violin performance works are available exclusively on Bandcamp.

Bio
Beginning his professional violin studies in 1999, entered the National Conservatory of Music in 2001 under the Master chair Boris Klepov, receiving scholarships for excellence and high performance finishing his studies in 2013 with degree.
He has performed as an extra violin in the Philharmonic Orchestra in Mexico City and in the Philharmonic Orchestra of the National Autonomous University OFUNAM.
He was invited to be part of the Pattersson New York based WatchTower Orchestra recordings in 2014 and 2015.
Since 2018 he has been a member in the violin section of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo Symphony Orchestra OSUAEH.
More than 17 years of experience teaching violin.
